WHAT IS PEACH FUZZ

When a kid from childhood develops to puberty, facial hairs start to grow. Hairs that are like fuzz on a peach fruit emergent on their faces, the reason it is called peach fuzz. It is usually short, fine, light-color and unnoticeable hair develops on adolescent's face. Scientifically, peach fuzz is known among medical practitioners as Vellus hair. It is less than 2 mm long and the follicle is not connected to the sebaceous gland. They lack a central medulla, which is present in thick terminal hair. They have fewer terminals or androgenic hair. Not a lanugo hair or a thick hair grows only on fetuses.  And usually, greater degree on men than women does.

At puberty stage of man, the androgen hormones cause Vellus hair to turn into terminal hair and fuel the growth of new hair in the classified area of the body. And it is dominant among men on their face and body. This hair provides both thermal insulation that regulates body temperature and cooling for the body. The function of Vellus hair is to be the medium for perspiration. Where sweat wets its external strand and then evaporates.

Peach fuzz is adorning the upper lip, cheeks or chins that sometimes bothers women and enjoys by men. Some women seek treatments and even explore different options in removing it. Women may feel annoyed and disturbed about peach fuzz but it can be answered temporarily or permanently. Reviewing different strategies on how to remove it may help. While men tries to care and maintain its growth to add manly feature on them. But sometimes pissed them up if it grows unusual or it grows on unwanted part of their face. They can do some remedy on it as women do.

Peach fuzz is normal. You need to accept and love yourself the way it should be. But if unnecessary and incontrollable there are lot of things to try. Remember that the feeling of at ease of oneself is important.
